Students unions asked to make growth doc at Magadh University

The vice chancellor of the Magadh University, in order to promote the inclusiveness in the growth and the development of the university, has demanded a growth document from each student political party functional at the campus. The VC Md Ishtiaq has invited the students from various student unions such as the AVBP, Chhatra – Sangam, AISA, AISF etc in order to get a better vision of the growth of the university.

The vice chancellor had informed that the student leaders who have been asked to submit the soft copies of the vision documents in the MU office of the Dean - Students Welfare & the same are supposed to be discussed in the open session with the student leaders. Positive & viable suggestions, unaffected by the “source of origin” would be given a due weight-age, said the Vice Chancellor.

This would be perhaps for the 1st time in the whole Magadh University that the student organisations have formally been invited to make their own presentations. The students, in the past, have also complained of being ignored in important decision & making the processes concerning the curricular, co-curricular & the extracurricular activities .However, some years back, the Student Union’s elections were being held in the Magadh university on the basis of the “Lyngdoh - committee” advises.
