Following the Supreme Court result announcement order of various boards, AP Government has cancelled AP Inter Exams 2021.

Supreme Court Decision on AP Inter Exams 2021: Final Decision Out on June 24

SC Decision on AP Inter Exams 2021: Supreme Court of India took up the hearing with regard to AP Inter Exams 2021 on June 22 & 24, and ordered the AP Government to cancel the exams. The state government earlier filed an affidavit indicating that the government is ready to conduct exams in the last week of July. On June 22, the court noted that all states have already taken the decision to cancel the 12th exams, and AP is the only state which is yet to take a call on the same. The court further indicated that student safety is most important.

AP Inter Exams 2021 cancelled.

The Supreme Court has taken up the final hearing on AP Inter Exams 2021 at 11:00 AM on June 24 and mentioned that it won't allow the exams unless it gets convinced with the state government's argument. The court will announce its judgement on June 25 at 2:00 PM.

AP Government Files Affidavit in Supreme Court on Inter Exams 2021

The AP Government confirmed in its affidavit to Supreme Court that the Inter Exams 2021 will be conducted in the last week of July. The Supreme Court will take up the final hearing on this issue on June 24.

Here are some of the major highlights of the Supreme Court’s hearing on AP Inter Exams 2021 -

  1. The court questioned the state government why it did not submit an affidavit on Inter exams
  2. All the states have taken the decision to cancel the 12th exams and why the AP government is yet to take a call on it, Supreme Court noted.
  3. The court further noted that student safety is most important, and the state government should hold the responsibility if something happens to student due to Covid-19 second wave
  4. The court concluded by directing the state government to submit an affidavit on June 24, which should have the state government’s decision - whether it will conduct the exams or not.
