Hostellers from the Sri Venkateswara University have been facing various issues in terms of facilities. Shortage of rooms, lack of water availability as well as bathrooms are some of the concerns.
The female hostellers from the Sri Venkateswara University have been facing various issues in terms of facilities. There is a shortage of rooms, bathrooms and lack of water availability. The hostels at SVU have a capacity of accomdating 3000 students.Due to the non-availability of rooms at the campus, the administration has allotted each room to seven students. However, the actual capacity of the room is five students.
According to the sources, around 500 students are without accomodation. Its been two months since the new academic season has started and the hostel problem has not been solved yet.
Meanwhile, the MBA and MCA final year students did not vacate their hostel rooms due to delay in the examinations. This is also one of the reaoson that for shortage of hostel rooms.

SV University authorities have not been paying much attention to the hostel facility or enhancing the same.Due to the overcapacity of hostel rooms, the students are facing water sarcacity.

Students have a tough time adjusting to new places, especially when they travel to new places for their higher education. With improper hostel facilities, the task of adjusting to the new place is bound to be more difficult for the students. It can be assumed that after certain rooms have been emptied, the students will be able to avail the hostel facilities as they are meant to be.
