About 50 start-ups will move into the newly launch T Hub and start functioning on the day of the opening on 1st October, the incubation facility for start-ups developed in IIIT Hyderabad campus, by the Telangana government.
The date for the formal inauguration would be decided once eminent industrialist Ratan Tata is “able to give us the date”, informs IT Secretary of the State.
The facility with 800-seater on 60,000 sq ft built up area earlier was to be inaugurated by Ratan Tata earlier this month but due to his illness the ceremony had to be postponed.
The IT Secretary, speaking at the inauguration of the MAIT IT Asia-2015 here, said this while listing the initiatives of the government in the field of IT. On clusters for electronics manufacturing units, he said the Centre had sanctioned two such facilities near Hyderabad.
Already several; Korean and Taiwanese companies have expressed interest in starting industrial parks in the State for their country’s companies.
“They will bring whichever company is showing interest. A large number of them will be in electronic manufacturing. Government is showing lots of interest in the field of IT. Centre had sanctioned two such facilities near Hyderabad,”reveals IT Secretary.
