The Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai has released the schedule for registration of Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2021. The last date to register for Tamil Nadu MBBS admission 2021 is January 7.
The Directorate of Medical Education Selection Committee, Government of Tamil Nadu has released the link to register for the Tamil Nadu NEET UG Online Counselling 2021. This news is relevant for candidates who wish to take admission to medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.
The online registration has started on 19th December 2021 and it will end on 7th January 2022. The last date to take the printout of the application form is 10th January 2022. Candidates need to keep their eyes peeled for the latest updates regarding Tamil Nadu NEET UG admissions 2021.
Here are some important instructions
- The online application form for Tamil Nadu MBBS counselling 2021 can be accessed from the official website ( www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in, www.tnmedicalselection.org )of the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.
- The admission to MBBS and BDS courses would be accepted on the basis of rank secured in NEET UG 2021.
- The reservation of 85% of the seats would be applied according to the rules and regulations of the state of Tamil Nadu.
- For Erode Medical College and Hospital, Perundurai, Erode District, Tamil Nadu, the government has empowered the state government to take admissions for 100 seats from which 30 seats are allotted for wards of employees of the State Transport Corporation and Institute of Road Transportation.
- Counselling of candidates belonging to the special category will be done separately and they have to pay an additional sum of Rs 100 via bank portal.
- The mode of counselling is offline.
- A candidate can reach the nearest medical college in Tamil Nadu along with their original documents to register online for counselling if they are not able to access the online form.
- The application form so filled shall be taken out in hard prints and sent to the following address along with the requisite enclosures: -
