In view of the heavy showers, many districts are expected to announce holidays for schools on November 19, 2025. Districts that currently have a

probability of declaring a holiday include
Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar, Tenkasi, Theni, Mayiladuthurai, and Cuddalore
. These locations are likely to receive extremely heavy rainfall, which may lead officials to suspend classes. Additionally, Villupuram, Karaikal, Pondicherry, and Cuddalore had already declared holidays for both schools and colleges on November 18, 2025, due to the severe weather conditions.
