Telangana Private College Managements Declare Bandh for Three Days

All the private degree and PG colleges across nine districts of Telangana are observing strike from September 1 to September 3, 2016. The students are demanding the government to release the reimbursements. The chairperson of Private Degree and PG colleges Association, Mr. Ramana Reddy, gave a call for a strike for three days. The association requested the government to release the reimbursements for the academic years 2014-15 and 2015-16.

The government neither responded to the request nor gave announcement regarding reimbursements. The chairperson of Association said that the policy of government regarding reimbursements is disappointing, and it affects the career of 20,000 students. The government has to draw the attention towards the concerns of the students.

The association is also demanding the government to conduct offline admission process for degree and PG courses. This year, the online admission process led to utter failure. Over two lakh UG seats are vacant. The government did not create proper awareness regarding online admissions to the students. Most of the students from rural areas did not join in any of the colleges due to lack of awareness.

Cool, interesting and funny. An ardent lover of animals and gets a kick out of Chetan Bhagat and Amish Tripathi novels. My favourite novel is 'The God of Small Things' written by Arundathi Roy.
