Dr. SD, Gupta, President, IIHMR University, said, “Public Health has changed dramatically in the last century. There is a dire necessity to build public health capacities in developing countries, especially in the low and middle income countries. We have limited capacities and skills in public health, also, we hardly find a high quality public health program that is designed to encourage and respond to the health problems in low and middle income countries. Hence, it is time to re-examine our curriculums to ensure we are delivering education, research, practices and experience that is vibrant, viable, relevant and realistic. This is primarily the reason and what we aim to provide with our cooperative program of Master of Public Health.”
