Tata Institute of Social Studies (TISS), Mumbai has announced the results of TISS National Entrance Test (TISSNET) 2016 on February 2, 2016, on their official website.
TISSNET 2016 was conducted on January 9, 2016, in computer based mode across multiple centres throughout the country. The TISS 2016 Results are the basis for admission to TISS Mumbai, TISS Tuljapur, TISS Hyderabad and TISS Guwahati.
The candidates will get an email indicating the score card/link to download score card. Candidates will be able to access their score cards by logging into the online system.
Students who clear the 2016 TISSNET will be called for Pre-Interview Test (PIT)/Personal Interview (PI). The admission process is as follows:
- TISS National Entrance Test (Computer-based exam)
- Pre-Interview Test
- Personal Interview for all programmes
The weights for NET, PIT and PI is as follows for the preparation of final merit lists for General as well as for Reserved Category candidates.
NET – 40%, PIT – 30%, PI – 30%
The Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview rounds will be held from March 10 to April 8.
The final merit list will be declared on April 15. The new batch of this financial year is expected to commence on June 13, 2016.
