TNAU UG Ranking Procedure 2025: TNAU has set up a ranking procedure for students applying for undergraduate programs in 2025, which applies to both academic and vocational backgrounds. The ranking will be based on the students' scores from their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) 12th exams. Specifically, scores from four subjects that are eligible will be converted into a maximum score of 50 marks each. This method ensures that all candidates, regardless of their stream, are judged fairly. The total score from these conversions will determine their rank, helping to make the admissions process clear and fair for everyone applying to various undergraduate courses at the university.

TNAU UG Ranking Procedure 2025
The determination of TNAU UG 2025 inter-se merit among students with identical aggregate marks in the general rank list follows a specific order of priority to assess merit. The details are mentioned below.
- First, students are evaluated based on their marks out of 50 in Mathematics; if a student has not taken Mathematics, the evaluation moves to their marks in Biology, which combines Botany and Zoology.
- Next, the assessment considers marks in Physics, followed by marks in Chemistry. If students are still tied after these criteria, their date of birth is used as a tiebreaker, favoring the eldest student.
- Finally, if necessary, a random number is applied to resolve any remaining ties. This structured approach aims to ensure a fair and systematic method of ranking students in competitive scenarios.
