UGC NET 2022 Registration will be closed today, May 20, 2022, at 5 PM. Only the fee payment option will be open until 11:50 PM today. Candidates who wish to register for the examination shall do it before the specified time. The application form is available at the exam’s official website at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
After the application form submission deadline ends, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will open an application form correction window from May 21 to May 23 through which the candidates will be able to revise/modify/correct any mistakes they may have made while filling out the application form.
Although there is a possibility that NTA may extend the registration deadline, it is advised for the candidates to stay dependent on it. NTA reserves the rights to not extend the application deadline at all. Aspirants must finish their online application filling before 5 PM today itself.
Given the postponement of Dec 2021 cycle in view of the pandemic, the June 2022 cycle would have been delayed too. So in order to regularize the cycles, NTA has decided to merge the Dec 2021 and June 2022 cycles and this merged cycle will be held in the first or second week of June 2022. Like the previous year, the exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

UGC NET 2022 Application Form: Steps to Apply
Step 1: Visit the website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Under ‘candidate Activity’, click on “Registration of Online Application Form for UGC NET Dec 2021 & June 2022 (Merged Cycles)”.
Step 3: The page will be redirected to an external website, examinationservices.nic.in. Now click on “New Registration”.
Step 4: Read the instructions carefully before clicking on the “Click here to Proceed” option.
Step 5: Fill in your personal, contact, address details, etc. and upload the documents within the given specifications.
Step 6: Double-check before payment of the application fees. Save/download it for further reference.
