The Uttar Pradesh board exam result for class 10 and class 12 is expected to be released in the third week of April. The evaluation of the answer sheets will start from 17 March 2018 and around 1.46 lakh individuals will be involved in the evaluation process.
Neena Srivastava, Board Secretary said that the UP board exams for class 10 and class 12 started from 6 February itself. Hence, they will be releasing the results early this time. According to her within the span of 40-45 UP board will publish the results for both the classes. Once the evaluation process is done, answer sheets will be sent for double-checking at their regional offices.
According to the sources, this year around 12,000 students did not appear for the board exams. The main reason behind such a steep downfall is the strict measures taken by the board to curb malpractice. The authorities installed CCTVs and had a strict security system at the evaluation centres to avoid any case of copying and ensure transparency.
Over the past few years, various cases related to cheating and copying during the UP board exams have been witnessed which was spoiling the sanctity of the examination. Therefore, UP board introduced strict measures to check the same and curb such practices. They will also seek the help of security forces so that education media does not create any hindrance in the evaluation process and the result is declared on time.
