Now, candidates can submit their CG PET 2016 application online. The application process has started. Application process will be closed by 4th week of the March month.
This year CG PET is going to take place on 24th April 2016.
CG PET also known as Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test. It is a state level engineering entrance exam of Chhattisgarh state. CG PET is conducted by directorate of technical education, Chhattisgarh for admission to the government and private engineering colleges of the Chhattisgarh state. Every year thousands of aspirants appear for CGPET seeking admission in the topmost Government & Private Engineering colleges of the state.
CG PET 2016 Application Procedure:
- Mode of application: only online.
- Candidates have to fill in all the required details in the specified fields and have to upload their scanned images of their photographs and signatures
- Application fee will also be paid in the offline mode only.
- Application Fees: For General: Rs. 300
For OBC: Rs 200, For ST/SC/PWD: Rs.200
- Application fee can be paid via: Online
CG PET 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates aspiring for CGPET 2016 must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam from Chhattisgarh Board or from any recognized board in the country
- Candidates must have Physics, Math and any of the Chemistry / Biology / Bio-Technology as compulsory subject as a part of their curriculum.
- Applicants must have secured an aggregate of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in their 12th or equivalent.
- Candidates must have the domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh state.
- Candidate’s age must not exceed 17 years on or before December 31, 2016, and he/she must be less than 30 years of age on or before July 1, 2016.
CG PET 2016 Counselling Process:
- Candidates can register themselves online & have to pay Rs.300 as the counseling fees.
- They can Fill up their preferred colleges during the counseling process & can do the verification of their required documents.
- Candidates have to report on time to the college allotted during the CG PET 2016 counselling along with the fee within specified date as late reporting may cancel the admission of the candidate.
