Admission Process 2022 for the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) courses is ongoing at UPES. The registration deadline for UPES DAT 2022 March cycle was March 27, 2022 and the exam will be held on March 30 & March 31, 2022. The application process is still ongoing for the upcoming exam sessions.
UPES conducts its own online test known as Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to offer admission to the aspirants. In order to appear for the UPES DAT exam, candidates have to fill up and submit the UPES DAT Application Form before the deadline ends. Here are all the important dates that you need to be aware of in order to get into the University.

UPES DAT Eligibility Criteria 2022
Mentioned below are the eligibility criteria for an undergraduate and postgraduate design course. The candidate needs to go through them to ensure his admission in UPES 2022.
For the B.Des Program:
If the candidate is applying through UPES Design Aptitude Test (UPES DAT) or JEE Mains/UCEED merit candidate must have scored at least 50% marks at the higher and senior secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics at the senior secondary level (12th)
If the candidate is applying through board merit he/she must have scored at least 65% marks at the higher and senior secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 65% aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics/biology at the senior secondary level (12th class)
For the M.Des. Program:
Candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks at the higher and senior secondary level (10th & 12th).
Candidate should have a graduate degree in B.Tech / BE in any discipline / B.Arch / B.F.A. 4 years / 3 years B.Sc in design plus 1 year of foundation / B. Des / applied arts with minimum 50% marks.

Selection is based on UPES DAT or board merit / JEE Mains/ UCEED merit followed up by personal interviews and presentations on the work portfolio. It is essential to verify the entire eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
