Interested students can fill up the Vels Scholarship Admission Test application form for the 2020 exam session until the 29th of June 2020. The V-SAT 2020 exam has been scheduled to be conducted on the 01st of July.
The Vels Scholarship Admission Test, which is conducted by the Vels Institute of Science and Technology and Advanced Studies, commonly referred to as VISTAS, will be conducted on the 01st of July, 2020. The Vels Scholarship Admission Test or V-SAT is conducted for admission into the 100+ programmes which are offered at the Vels Science and Technology and Advanced Studies. The admission test is conducted in online mode by the conducting body.
VISTAS has also declared that the last date to register for the Vels Scholarship Admission Test is 29th June, 2020.
Through the Vels Scholarship Admission Test, VISTAS identifies a total of 500 exceptional students in the state of Tamil Nadu who are granted a 100% scholarship in tuition fee if they wish to pursue one of the 100+ programmes that the VISTAS offers.
Also, those students who enrol themselves for the V-SAT exam can grab a scholarship of up to 75% on the basis of merit list.
Who is Eligible for V-SAT 2020
Those students who have appeared in their class XIIth examination and are yet to receive their results are eligible for the V-SAT exam. The scholarship admission test is conducted over a duration of 45 minutes.
V-SAT Exam Pattern 2020
The V-SAT paper is divided into three portions - Analytical Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. Each section will comprise of a total of 15 questions which adds up to a total of 45 questions which the candidates have to attempt to answer within the given time limit. The maximum mark for V-SAT is 180.

According to the latest marking scheme for V-SAT, the candidates will be -
Awarded 4 marks for each correct response
Penalised 1 mark for each wrong response
