Vignan University Organises NSS activities

The NSS unit of Vignan University commenced its NSS activities on March 30, 2016. The activities were inaugurated by NSS coordinator, Mr. Krishna Kishore. As a part of NSS activities, the NSS volunteers of university participateed in Plantation, Career Guidance for school students, Swatch Baharat mission, donations to old age homes and orphanages, conducting campaigns on clean and green and many more.

As a part of the NSS activities, volunteers conducted career guidance to the school students on the first day. The career guidance was conducted at Sangam Jagarlamudi Z.P High school. The career guidance was given by Rohit kumar, Sai Kumar and P.Manjula, 1st year students of university. The career guidance was given to 9^th class students.

Addressing the students, Rohith Kumar explained about the various career options for the students after 10^th class. Sai Kumar explained about various job opportunities related to the career options after 10^th class. P. Manjula explained about POLYCET, APRJC and the scheme of entrance examination. Children asked various questions and got answered vary briefly by P.Manjula.

The school management appreciated the NSS volunteers for their initiatives and ideas. Later NSS volunteers interacted with students and explained about the importance of plantation. They motivated the children to plant at least a sapling every year.

Around 20 volunteers of university will take part in various NSS activities which will continue till April 2, 2016.
