VIT-AP School of Business has joined hands with the University of Michigan for collaborative student exchange programmes. Dr. G. Viswanathan, VIT-AP Chancellor and Dr. Daniel E. Little, University of Michigan, Dearborn, USA Vice-Chancellor signed the Memorandum of Understanding on 1 May 2018 and exchanged a Collaborative Education Agreement.

According to the MoU, students enrolled in the BBA programme in VSB have the option of getting a BBA degree from the University of Michigan. Students will also be offered a scholarship which will reduce their burden of tuition fees at UMD as the fees for international students studying at UMD is very high. As per the agreement, VSA BBA has the following course options:
- BBA from VSB - 3 years regular BBA programme at VSB campus
- BBA from UMD - 2 years in VSB campus + 2 years in UMD
- BBA + PGDBA (integrated) - 3 + 1 years at VSB campus
