The Veer Kuer Singh University has donated a sum of Rs 4 Lakhs for the cause of the Armed Forces.
The Vice Chancellor of the University has informed that the University has been relentlessly working for the cause of the forces, apart from providing quality education to its pupils since the time of its inception.
The Vice-Chancellor Mr. Leela Chand Saha also informed that the university has received awards and accolades in the same regards.
The VC informed that the Veerk Kuer Singh University has received a total of 4 trophies for its outstanding contribution in this field.
The contributions by the Veer Kuer Singh University (VKSU) had been made under a scheme called Armed Forces Flag Day Voluntary Donation Scheme. The move has been appreciated by all
The VC also has said, “ We have been contributing to the cause of the Armed Forces.” “ This time, we donated Rs 4.24 Lakh to Mr. Dev Narayan Mandal, the co-ordinator of the scheme”, added the Vice-Chancellor Mr. Leela Chand Saha.
The University is the highest contributor under the particular scheme as of today. The reports came out on Tuesday i.e 19th April 2016, as informed by the Vice Chancellor of the University.
