VR Siddhartha College of Engineering and Technology, Vijayawada in association with Akhila Bharatiya Vidya Parishad(ABVP) organize Srujana-2016, a state level techno and cultural fest on 19-March-2016. The chief guest of the inaugural session was Dr.Rama Rao, President, ABVP, Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the students, chief guest said “Its high time that students have to develop skills which are essential to secure a better job now-a-days”. He also said that the development of new capital of Andhra Pradesh is in the hands of future engineers. He motivated the students to take part in various competitions which will expose their talents and skills. He felt that a proper exposure to the current trend of education is essential for students. He stressed on practical and technical knowledge.
Around 450 students from 40 engineering colleges of Krishna, Godavari and Guntur districts participated in various competitions that were conducted under Srujana-2016. The college campus filled with students registering themselves for various competitions. The major competitions were;
- Paper presentation
- Poster Presentation
- Technical Quiz
- Treasure Hunt
- Group dance and many more.
Prizes were distributed in the valedictory ceremony by the college dean, Dr.Panduranga Rao.
