The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2016.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has announced the results of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2016. Jasabardhan Tirwani from Delhi Public School Rajarhat Kolkata has topped the examination, followed by Avishek Dutta from Kalyani High School in the second position and Arpan Kongar from Bidhannagar Institution in the third position.

The students can know their results by 4 pm at the official website of WBJEEB.

The exam is conducted for admissions into Engineering, Architecture, Pharmaceutical, Medicine etc. courses in various colleges of West Bengal.

Steps to know the result:

  • Log on to the official website of the board
  • Enter your roll number
  • Result will appear on the screen
  • Save the result and take a print out for future reference.

The board had successfully conducted the written examination for registered candidates on May 17, 2016, across various cities of West Bengal, WBJEE also held some centres in Tripura, Agartala, Assam and Silchar.

The examination was conducted in four subjects: Biological Sciences (100 marks), Mathematics (100 marks), Physics (75 marks) and Chemistry (75 marks).

WBJEE is a common entrance examination conducted for taking admission to undergraduate programmes in Medical, Dental, Engineering and Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in universities, government colleges and self-financed institutes.
