WBJEE 2017 Results to be Announced on June 5
  • West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board had announced that the results of WBJEE 2017 examination would be released on or before June 4 or June 5, 2017.
  • The candidates who secure the minimum cut-off mark prescribed by the WBJEEB will be declared as eligible for admission.

Earlier, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board had announced that the results of WBJEE 2017 examination would be released on or before June 4 or June 5, 2017. However, there is an uncertainty about the date of declaration of results. On the other hand, the official website of WBJEE indicated that the results are expected by June 5, 2017. WBJEE 2017 examination took place in various test centres across the state on April 23, 2017.

Once the results are declared, the candidates who took WBJEE 2017 examination for the admission to various courses can check the results on the official portal of Joint Entrance Examination Board of West Bengal. The candidates who secure the minimum cut-off mark prescribed by the board will be declared as eligible for the admission. However, the allotment of the seat is purely based on WBJEE 2017 merit.

After the declaration of results, the next stage of the admission process is WBJEE 2017 counselling. According to sources, WBJEE 2017 counselling will begin in the third week of June. The official schedule of WBJEE 2017 counselling will be published on the official portal of WBJEE. The candidates need to appear for the counselling will all the mandatory documents (original & xerox). The counselling will take place rank-wise and the candidates must attend on the stipulated date and time.

Finally, based on the WBJEE 2017 merit, the candidates will be allotted seats by the board. Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotment in the first round counselling can appear for second phase counselling.
