UPSC CDS 2 2022 written exam was successfully conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on September 4. Candidates are now awaiting the results of the same. However, in the meantime, those who are preparing for the upcoming stages of the recruitment process can check out the next steps here.
Steps Following the UPSC CDS 2 2022 Written Exam
The UPSC CDS (Combined Defense Services) 2 2022 result will be published tentatively in October. Those candidates who clear the written test with the minimum cutoff marks will be shortlisted for the next phase, which is the SBB Interview/Personality Test round.
UPSC CDS 2 2022 Phase 2 – SBB Interview/Personality Test
The Personality Test/Interview round conducted by the Services Selection Board includes two stages to assess the candidates’ efficiency – their overall personality and psychological abilities. While the first stage is a personality cum intelligence test, the second stage is a psychological test that involves various interviews, GD or group discussions, and a conference round.
Candidates must note that the SBB Interview round is conducted over 5 days –
Day 1 - Screening Tests
Day 2 - Psychology Tests
Day 3 & 4 - Group Testing
Day 5 – Conference
UPSC CDS 2 2022 Phase 3 – Document Verification
Candidates clearing the UPSC CDS 2 2022 Interview and Personality Test will be eligible for Phase 3 of the recruitment drive, which is document verification. Candidates must keep all the relevant documents ready at hand to avoid last-minute hassles.
UPSC CDS 2 2022 Phase 4 – Medical Examination
The last phase of the UPSC CDS 2 2022 recruitment process is the medical examination round. Only those candidates who manage to clear the written exam and interview, and go through the document verification round are called for the medical tests. Through the medical examination, the overall condition and fitness of the candidate are evaluated.
The final selection of candidates is done based on their overall performance in the recruitment drive. The CDS 2 2022 result will soon be updated on the official website along with the interview dates for qualifying candidates.
