When Will NTA NEET Answer Key 2022 be Released?

NEET 2022 exam took place on 17th July and the answer key for the same is yet to be released by the National Testing Agency. According to the latest media reports, the answer key will release in the last week of August, however, any official announcement has not been made yet. The answer key will be released online on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in. The OMR sheet of the candidates who appeared for the exam will also be released along with the answer key by NTA. With the help of the answer key and OMR sheet, candidates will be able to calculate their estimated score.

To download the answer key, candidates need to visit the official website and click on the official answer key link provided on the home page. The answer key will appear on the screen which can be downloaded and printed out if required. Candidates can match their responses to the answers provided in the answer key. To calculate an estimated mark, candidates must know the marking scheme. For every correct answer, +4 marks will be awarded to the candidates whereas for every wrong answer -1 mark will be deducted. There is no penalty for unattempted questions. 

Candidates can challenge the NEET answer key by paying Rs 200 for each objection on NTA's official website neet.nta.nic.in once the answer key is released.

The NEET ranks are used by state and central governments for 15% of all India quota counselling and 85% for state quota counselling. AIQ NEET counselling is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on mcc.nic.in in the case of MBBS.
