For the year 2022, the Ministry of Education might take a decision to conduct the entrance exam four times. One of the major reasons to consider for conducting the exam multiple times in 2022 is the academic disturbance caused by the second wave Covid-19 pandemic. In most of the states, the physical classes for Class 12 students started only in October, and attending physical classes has not been made mandatory. Some students are still attending online classes due to the fear of the third-wave Covid-19 pandemic.

Even though the vaccination process for children is expected to be wrapped by next year, academic disturbance and stress will be considered while deciding the frequency of JEE Main 2022 exam.
