Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University, also known as MKBU, was founded in 1978 by the Government of Gujarat. It is an affiliating university with more than 100 colleges and PG centres under its umbrella. These affiliated colleges and institutions offer various science, arts, commerce, management, and law courses under the supervision of the university. The university is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with a ‘B’ grade. Moreover, it is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

What that means is that students do not need to take an entrance test for admission to MA, M.Sc, M.Com, and M.Ed programmes. Interested students can apply to Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University online. The university has a dedicated MKBU application portal to streamline its application process. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to complete the MKBU application process.

The centralised MKBU MBA/MCA counselling process is conducted by ACPC during every admission cycle.
