AP-SET 2017 Schedule Released, Check Here

Andhra University has announced that the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (AP-SET) 2017 will be conducted on July 30, 2017. The varsity has released the schedule of AP-SET 2017 examination. However, the official notification will be released on March 19, 2017, i.e., Sunday.

Prof. G. Nageswararao, Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University revealed that the University Grants Commission has accredited Andhra University (AU) to hold State Eligibility Test (SET) for three consecutive years. From this year, the AP-SET examination will be conducted every year.

The candidates who qualify in AP-SET will be considered for recruitment as lecturers and assistant professors in various universities and degree colleges across the state. The qualified candidates will also be then eligibile to take up research.

AP-SET 2017 examination will be conducted on the lines of National Eligibility Test (NET). The examination pattern will be same and it will be conducted in 31 subjects. The official website of AP-SET 2017 will be functional from March 19, 2017. The aspiring candidates can also apply for AP-SET 2017 through the official website of Andhra University.

Application Fee: -

• Rs. 1,000 is the AP-SET 2017 application fee for General Category.
• For candidates belonging to BC category, the application fee is Rs. 800.
• Rs. 500 is the application fee for SC/ ST/ PwD categories.
