Chennai-based NGO Launches NEET Mobile App

  • The T4P Lets Act app has been developed by a Chenna -based NGO who cater mainly to students of rural areas. 
  • The app provides students with an option to retrieve online lectures it from the recorded sessions in case they miss one.

Chennai-based NGO, Tech for All, has developed Android App forNEET 2018aspirants. T Shanmugam father of late S Anitha, who committed suicide last year as she was unable to passNEET examaddressed the audience with his thoughts regarding how parents should not pressure their children. The mobile application is known asT4P Lets Act,the app will provideNEET aspirantswith online NEET crash course. Dr. Indira Natarajan, Gynecologist, John Britto, St Joseph's College Rector also graced the launch event with their presence.

TheT4P Lets Act apphas been developed by a Chennai-based NGO that caters mainly to students of rural areas. The app has been developed in such a manner that it lets qualified interested faculty register themselves and conduct online classes. In case a student misses the online class they have an option to retrieve it from the recorded sessions.

The mobile app has become very popular as several enrolled volunteers have been providing resource materials such as mobile phones with data pack for students. The app will help the aspiring students to clear the queries and doubts regarding the NEET exam.

While addressing the audience, Shanmugam reminisced the time when Anitha was preparing for theNEET examand how everyone in their family was looking forward to her securing a seat in a medical college. He also said that parents should not impose their dreams on children and put pressure on them.

He further told the audience that he never put undue pressure on her to become a doctor and urged everyone in the audience to not to make too much obsession towards medical education. During his speech, he also asked students not to pressurize their children to do a higher education in a particular field and let them choose their own path in what they are interested in.
