CSAB 2021: Important Rules Regarding Refund of Participation & Seat Acceptance Fee
As CSAB 2021 special round counselling is underway, it is important to have a clear idea of CSAB special round participation fee and seat acceptance fee refund rules & regulations.
CSAB 2021 special round counsellingforvacant seats in NITs, IIITs and GFTIsstarted on November 28, and the last date for the online registration is November 30. The Round 1 seat allotment result of CSAB 2021 will be released on December 2. Before the release of seat allotment result, it is important for the participants to have a clear idea of rules and regulations pertaining to refund of participation & seat acceptance fee. If a student does not secure an admission/ allotment in special rounds, their participation fee will be refunded under certain conditions. CSAB 2021 Special Round Participating & Seat Acceptance Fee Refund Rules
The candidates are advised to go through the below rules carefully to avoid any sort of confusion after the seat allotment –
- Candidates who have already withdrawn the seat allocated in JoSAA counselling are not willing to participate in special rounds must note that their seat acceptance fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 2,000. The refund amount will be credited to the bank account from which the payment had been made
- Fresh candidates who did not get a seat in special round counselling must note that their participation fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 2,000
- Fresh candidates who did not get a seat in CSAB Special Round 1 and are not willing to participate in Round 2 must note that their participation fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 2,000
- Fresh candidates who secured a seat in Round 1 and failed to complete the reporting process must note that their participation fee and seat acceptance fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 6,000
- Candidates who secured a seat in CSAB Round 1 and opted for ‘Surrender and Participate in Round 2’ but did not secure a seat in Round 2 must note that their participation fee and seat acceptance fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 6,000
- Candidates who secured a seat in Round 1 but failed to upload required documents must note that their participation and seat acceptance fee will be refunded with a deduction of Rs. 6,000
