CSAB 2021 special round 1 seat allotment result has been released on December 2 at csab.nic.in. The candidates are required to be ready with JEE Main application number and password to check the seat allotment result. After checking the seat allotment result, the candidates need to complete the seat acceptance & reporting process. Along with the seat allotment result, CSAB will also release the special Round 1 opening & closing ranks so that the candidates participating in Round 2 will have a tentative idea of admission chances. Steps to Check CSAB Special Round 1 Seat Allotment 2021

The candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned below to check the special round 1 seat allotment result of CSAB 2021 –

  • Click on the direct link mentioned above or visit the official website of CSAB, i.e., csab.nic.in
  • Enter the JEE Main application number and password to sign-in
  • Your seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen
  • Proceed with the further process of seat allotment as mentioned below

Note: Candidates who had secured a seat for the first time in CSAB will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 38,000 (Rs. 18,000 for SC/ ST/ PwD). Candidates who had already paid the seat acceptance fee in JoSAA need not pay again.

Freeze, Float, Slide Option after CSAB Special Round 1 Seat Allotment

After checking the CSAB special round 1 seat allotment result 2021, the candidates will have five options to choose –

  • Freeze
  • Float
  • Slide
  • Surrender & Participate in Special Round 2
  • Surrender & Not Participate in Special Round 2

Freeze

  • Candidates who are satisfied and willing to accept the seat allotment can choose this option and complete the admission formalities

Float

  • Candidates who are looking for a better seat allotment in Round 2 can choose this option.
  • The seat allocated in Round 1 will NOT be cancelled till the candidates get a better allotment in Round 2.
  • If the candidates do not get a better allotment in Round 2, they can proceed with the allotment made in Round 1
  • Candidates choosing this option need not pay the seat acceptance fee in Round 1

Slide

  • Candidates looking for a better course allotment within the allotted institute can choose this option
  • The seat allocated in Round 1 will NOT be cancelled till the candidates get a better allotment in Round 2
  • Candidates choosing this option need not pay the seat acceptance fee in Round 1

Surrender & Participate in Special Round 2

  • If you are choosing this option, you must note that the seat allotted in Round 1 will be cancelled and you will be eligible for Round 2
  • Candidates choosing this option need not pay the seat acceptance fee in Round 1

Surrender & Not Participate in Special Round 2

  • If you wish to reject the allotment and exit counselling process, you can choose this option
