CTET 2018 Registration Process Delayed: New Dates to be Notified Soon
- CTET 2018 online registration has been delayed until further notice.
- CBSE will conduct CTET 2018 on September 16.
- CTET 2018 will be conducted in a total of 17 languages.
CTET 2018aspirants, who were waiting for the commencement of the online registration process, have been left disappointed after CBSE delayed the registration process for the national-level teacher eligibility test - CTET. The board did not announce the revised dates for the online application process. Aspirants need to wait a few more days to register for CTET 2018.
After a gap of two years, CBSE issuedCTET 2018 Notificationwith some significant changes in the syllabus. The notification was out on June 12, 2018.CBSE will conduct CTET 2018 on September 16to the candidates aspiring for appointment as teachers for Class 1 to Class 8. All the schools run by central government consider CTET score for the appointment of teachers.

State governments can also considerCTETas the eligibility test for the Teacher Recruitment Test. However, if the states conduct TET independently, CTET score will not be considered for the state-level appointments.
Recently,HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar confirmed that CTET would take place in 17 languages.
Even though the date forCTET 2018 online registrationis delayed, CBSE will not change the date of CTET 2018 exam. The exam will take place as per the date notified by CBSE in the official notification.
