Candidates who do not meet all the conditions will not be allowed to appear for the entrance. Given below are the CUSAT CAT 2021 eligibility criteria that candidates have to fulfil mandatorily.

• Applicants seeking admission in UG courses must have passed class 12 exams from a recognized board of education.
• Those seeking admission in PG courses are required to have a bachelor degree in a relevant field from a recognized college or university.
• Candidates applying for Cochin University’sBachelor of Technology (B.Tech)courses must have cleared class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as well as English as compulsory subjects.
• Admission toMaster of Technology (M.Tech)programmes offered by the university will be done on the basis ofGraduate Admission Test in Engineering (GATE)scores.
• The SEBC candidates of Kerala state who are certified as belonging to the non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination unless otherwise specifically mentioned, provided that the candidates have passed the qualifying examination.
