CUSAT CAT Syllabus 2019

CUSAT CAT 2019 Syllabus varies for each programme. Candidates are advised to familiarise themselves with the CUSAT CAT 2019 syllabus so as to organise their preparation plan better.

Engineering (B.Tech)

Mathematics: This includes Number System – Sequences, Series, Complex Numbers Equations – Quadratic Equations, Differential Equations Logical and Reasoning – Sets, Relations, Functions, Mathematical Reasoning Algebra – Vector Algebra, Matrices, Determinants Geometry – Co – ordinate Geometry Integrals – Calculus Physics The topics in physics include Electronics – Current Electricity Velocity – Laws of Motions, Oscillation and Waves Gravitations Basis – Physics, Measurement Isotopes – Atom and Nuclei Forces – Gravitation, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism Transmission – Communications Systems Kinetic Theory of Gases Light – Optics Temperature – Thermodynamics Chemistry. The topics in Chemistry include Atomic Study – Atomic Structure, Hydrogen, Chemical Bonding, Molecular Structure, Hydrocarbons Organic Chemistry – Characterisation and Purification Environmental Chemistry Surface Chemistry Kinetics –  Chemical Kinetics Matter – States, Block Elements Equilibrium

B.Tech Programmes – Lateral Entry

The English section will contain questions related to vocabulary, cognitive skills, comprehension and grammar. Mathematics – Basics, Algebra, Geometry, Equations, etc. Engineering subjects will comprise of the syllabus of the first two years.

BBA LLB (Hons) & B.Com LLB (Hons)

The syllabus of Law will comprise of subjects related to the Bar Council of India

LLM

The syllabus of Law will comprise of subjects related to the Bar Council of India

LLB

The syllabus of Law will comprise of subjects related to the Bar Council of India

Integrated Dual Degree Programme of LLM (IP) and LLM (IPR)

This will contain questions from English Proficiency, Current Affairs, Logical reasoning, Analytics and Research

Master of Vocation – Mobile Phone Application Development and MCA

Refer to engineering syllabus for Mathematics and MCA Lateral Entry for Logical reasoning

MCA –Lateral Entry

Computer Science: This will cover C, C++. DBMS, OS, Algorithms, etc. Logical Reasoning Pictorial representations, Logical decoding, Basic Maths, etc.

Master of Vocation – Technology & Management Consulting

This will contain questions from English Proficiency, Current Affairs in Technology and business, Logical Reasoning, Analytics and Research
