IIM Ahmedabad Among Top B-Schools for Executive Programmes
- IIM Ahmedabad the top b-school in India for executive courses according to Financial Times Rankings 2018.
- IIM Bangalore followed IIM-A in the list, however, the rank of the institute has dropped down the list.
IIM Ahmedabadhas emerged as thetop Indian b-schoolin the field ofexecutive educationthis year in the Financial Times Executive Education Ranking. IIM Ahmedabad has not only improved its ranking in the Financial Times Rankings for executive programmes but has also emerged as the best institution in India for such courses.
IIM Ahmedabad has surpassedIIM Bangaloreand has secured 57thrank inFinancial Times Rankings for executive programmes. IIM Bangalore is the second in list amongst the Indian institutes and has secured 59thrank this year. However, the institute has performed poorly as compared to the last two years. IIM Ahmedabad has jumped 17 places since 2016 and moved up the ladder at a global scale. IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore are the only two institutes from India that have made it to the top 90 b-schools of Financial Times ranking. Spain’sIESE Business Schoolbagged the first position once again for its executive courses.
Chairperson of Executive Education at IIM Ahmedabad, Professor Arvind Sahay, said that the institute has secured excellent score in different parameters like teaching material and methodology, faculty, milestones achieved,ROIand future use.

Professor Sahay added that the executive programme offered byIIM-Ahas been designed while keeping the client inputs in mind and deliver education at reasonable fees. He hopes that their hard work will continue to get good scores from global ranking organisations. IIM Ahmedabad will soon launch anextension centreinDubai, he added.
