IIM Ahmedabad Inaugurates 12th PGPX Batch
The PGPX programme at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad was launched in 2009. So far, around 900 students have graduated as a part of this programme.
Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has launched its 12th batch of PGPX or Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives for the academic year 2017-18. It is a one-year full-time residential programme and a total number of 115 students joined the 12th batch of PGPX. Director of IIM Ahmedabad, Prof. Ashish Nanda, inaugurated the programme.
For the 12th batch of PGPX, the average GMAT score was around 700 while the average international experience was of two years. The total average work experience of 8.5 years and the average age is of around 32 years. Interestingly, the current batch is very different in terms of educational backgrounds, international work experience, gender and nationality.

Details about PGPX XII Batch: -
- 57% of the batch has worked in foreign countries before joining the course.
- Around 27% of participants are women.
- A total number of three participants are from abroad.
- Most of the participants have an excellent record of work experience.
- Around 25% of participants are from the non-engineering backdrop.

The PGPX programme at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad was launched in 2009. So far, around 900 students have graduated as a part of the PGPX. Until 2016-17, the total intake of the batch was 90 students, however this year, it has been increased to 115 this year.
Chairperson of PGPX at IIM Ahmedabad, Prof. Sunil Sharma welcomed the participants, urged them to focus on learning, and motivated them to become extraordinary problem solvers and leaders. He pointed that the previous batches performed exceptionally well and urged the current batch to carry on the same tempo.
