IIM-Bangalore Bags 19th Rank in FT Rankings
IIM-Bangalore is the only management school in India which consists of 28 percent of women in the two-year management programme.
Indian Institute of Management, Bangalorehas bagged 19thrank in the Financial Times (FT) Masters in Management 2016 ranking. The institute has been ranked for its Post Graduate Programme in Management. Last year, the institute secured 26thrank. This year, due to the steps which were taken by the Institute to promote gender diversity in the classrooms made the Institute jump seven places in the rankings list.

IIM-Bangalore is the only management school in India which consists of 28 percent of women in the two-year management programme. Around 25% of women are the members of school advisory board. The institute comprises of 21 percent of women faculty. It reveals that the Institute had worked consistently to promote gender diversity.
This year,IIM-Ahmedabadis down to 16thposition. The institute had secured 15thrank last year. However, the institute is continuing to be the top ranked B-School of India followed by IIM-Bangalore and Calcutta.IIM-Calcuttaachieved 23rdposition this year. The institute is down by seven positions where it bagged 16thrank last year.
Raghavan Srinivasan, Director Incharge of IIM-Bangalore said that the rankings reiterate the efforts of the Institute towards achieving global excellence.
