List of Admissions and Cancellations of Delhi University Under Sixth Cut-Off List
The seventh cut-off list will be out on August 24, 2016, followed by another list on August 29, 2016.
The Delhi University witnessed some fresh admissions and cancellations under sixth cut-off list on August 20, 2016. The new academic session began over a month ago and still there are some vacant seats. The process of admissions under sixth cut-off list will continue tillAugust 22, 2016. The admissions for the evening colleges closes at 4.00 PM. Right now, there are6,500vacant seats.
A total number of 190 seats are vacant atDyal Singh Collegeout of which the college received 20 admissions. Similarly, there were 20 cancellations too. The principal ofKalindi Collegesaid that they had more cancellations rather than admissions.
The sixth cut-off list ranges between85% to 90%of the general category. The cut-offs of B.Com and B.Com (Hons) is90%. AtMaitreyi College, the cut-offs for B.Com (Hons) is92%and90%for B.Com.
A total number of 35 and 26 seats are vacant for B.Com and B.Com (Hons) atBhim Rao Ambedkar College. The cut-offs for these two courses are86.50%and88.50%, respectively.
The cut-offs for Science courses is still90%and above. A total number of two seats are vacant for Chemistry (Hons) atAcharya Narendra Dev College. The cut-off for this course is92.66%. The college authorities mentioned that there is more vacancies for English (Hons) course.
AtHans Raj College, seats are vacant for BA English (Hons) at90%for OBC category. The cut-off for BA Economics (Hons) is87%for Sc category.
Overall all a total number of2,500seats are vacant under OBC category out of6,500seats.The seventh cut-off list will be out onAugust 24, 2016, followed by another list onAugust 29, 2016.
