The undergraduate admissions at Hansraj College are based on the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) for the 2023 session. The Hansraj College Placement cell is a student-run cell that is headed by the faculty for guidance. The placement cell contacts with prospective recruiters and students and bridges the gap between them. Various activities like group discussions, mock interviews, aptitude tests, etc., are held to train the students. As per the Hansraj College placement report for 2021-22 batch, the placements were highly successful with the highest package reaching Rs 36.5 lakh per annum. Not just this, the average package stood at Rs 7.3 lakh per annum. More than 245 job offers were made. There was a huge 190% year-on-year increase in the job offers made. The Hansraj College placement package for the average CTC rose by 4.2% in 2023 when compared with 2021. There was also a rise of 90% in the highest package when compared to 2021. The admissions to the UG courses will be based on the CUET UG 2022 exam for the 2022 session. The PG admissions on the other hand will be based on the DUET PG 2022 exam. Unlike the Hansraj College Cutoff 2021, there will not be any merit-based cutoff released for the 2022 session based on Class 12 percentage. However, based on the CUET UG Result, which was released on September 16, 2022, the college will prepare its merit list and counselling schedule. Although there will not be any merit-based Hansraj College cutoff 2022, the college will use the subject-based normalised scores of students to prepare the merit lists for admissions. The first merit list of DU is expected to be released on October 18, 2022. The second merit list will be out on October 30, 2022, and, the third list on November 10, 2022. Also, the 1st spot allocation list will be out on November 10, 2022. Students must note that these merit lists will be CSAS allocation lists based on Hansraj College cutoff CUET. these will not be the merit lists based on Class 12 percentages like the previous academic years.
Hansraj College provides financial aid to the UG and PG students in the form of Academic Prizes as well as fee concessions and scholarships. The fee concession can be 50% to 100% and is based on factors like family income, background, girl child, merit, etc. The Students Welfare Committe holds an interview to select students who are deserving of the scholarships.
