Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC) Delhi, offers under graduate and post graduate courses in the domain of Science. The institute was established in 1991, and has its affiliation from University of Delhi. The college provides various opportunities to students to participate in research projects, under the guidance of faculty members, as their mentors. ANDC also gives importance to extra curricular activities, and believes that participation in these kind of activities helps in shaping the personality of a student. The college team imparts an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell for the students, so that opportunities of self-employment can be created for the students. There are 11 departments available in the college, namely Department of Botany, Department of Biomedical Sciences, Department of Chemistry, Department of Computer Science, Department of Commerce, Department of Electronics, Department of Physics, Department of Electronics, Department of English, Department of Zoology, and Department of Library. At present the institute has 1650 students, not counting the language courses, and this number is increasing every year. The institute also has about 200 students registered for the foreign language courses. The college is among the best in the University as far as the laboratory infrastructure is concerned - and as a 'science' college this is of paramount importance. Acharya Narendra Dev College, being primarily a Science college saw major overhaul in its systems. Eleven of the thirteen undergraduate courses were semesterised.
