Mr. Parrikar also added that out of the many students who graduate from the reputed IITs in the country, only a limited number of students are taking academics among them. These students shall play a crucial role in academics in order to improve the quality of education, he added. The CM of Goa further advised the students to take up jobs in social and development sectors and take up roles in politics and the Indian Army to serve the nation.

He further pointed that even though technology has created a wave in many sectors, there are still some age old practices that are prevalent even now. With an objective to address the issue, the technology must be made available to the masses, he said.
