New Directors Appointed for 10 IIMs
All these appointments were approved by ACC which is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Central government has appointed Directors for 10 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
The following members have been appointed as the Directors of 10 IIMs: -

The newly appointed directors will hold the office for five years or until the attainment of age of 65. All these appointments were approved by ACC which is headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prof. G. Raghuram, newly appointed director of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has been a faculty member at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad since 1985. He also held the position of Dean (Faculty) at IIM-Ahmedabad from September 2013 to December 2015. Currently, he is working as Chairman of Public Systems Group or PSG at IIM-Ahmedabad.

Recently, Human Resource Development Ministry stated in Lok Sabha that a total number of 14 IIMs across the country are functioning without directors. The appointment of directors in four IIMs is still pending, and the appointments will be made soon.
