Day 2 of JEE Main 2021 (February) has been successfully concluded on February 24 in two shifts, i.e., Shift 1 & 2. The exam has been conducted peacefully in all the exam centres across the country with necessary Covid-19 precautions. Wearing a face mask is compulsory at all exam centres. Day 2 exam has been conducted for B.Tech (Paper 1). The difficulty level of Shift 1 & 2 was moderate with fewer difficult questions. There were no unexpected or surprising questions, and the Chemistry section was fully based on the NCERT textbooks. The Physics section was easy to moderate in both shifts. Most of the questions were formula-based and direct. There were fewer theoretical questions. In Shift 1, the Chemistry section had the most Numerical questions from the topic – Physical Chemistry. The difficulty level of Numerical questions was average, and the Mathematics section was easy to moderate.

Candidates appearing for Day 3 exam on February 25 must note that Calculus, Vector, Probability, Coordinate Geometry and Complex Numbers are important from Mathematics. On the other hand, Physical Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry from the Chemistry section are expected to have more weightage. From the Physics section, Semiconductors, Kinematics & Electrostatics are expected to be the easy scoring chapters.
