Panjab University Begins Online Registration For Engineering & Architecture Courses

Panjab University has started with their online registration to B.Tech/B.E./ B.Arch and Integrated BE- MBA courses. The admission to the respective programmes is on the basis of JEE Main 2018.

The varsity is offering 1,300 seats in five engineering institutes affiliated to it. These colleges are popular for their placement cell, quality education and training programmes. Listed below are the five engineering institutes:

• Dr SS Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (UICET)- 177 seats
• University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University
• UIET Hoshiarpur
• Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), Sector 26
• Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), Sector 12

However, Punjab Engineering College (PEC) will go for joint seat allocation this time instead of conducting admissions through JAC.

UIET Panjab University will offer 656 seats in courses such as BE information technology, computer science, mechanical, biotechnology and electrical and electronics. Professor JK Goswamy, UIET, said that the admission procedure is online this time and the tuition fee for the 2018-19 academic year is Rs.65,790.

Candidates can apply for these courses latest by 30th June and will be required to apply separately for JAC.

Dr SSB UICET is offering 177 seats in total for BE food technology, chemical, and integrated BE (chemical)-MBA. The duration of the integrated programme is five years and the tuition fee for the same for is Rs 85,510.
