TS Inter Syllabus 2021 Likely to be Reduced by 30%
As per a suggestion from the Union Government, the TS Inter syllabus for the next academic year is likely to be reduced by 30 per cent. The suggestion is yet to be approved by the State Government. Read the full story below.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought major changes in the education system of India. Various central or state boards took unprecedented decisions to ensure everyone's safety and convenience. But, the pandemic is yet to free the system from its clutches. In the view of prompting situation in the Telangana state, the Union Government has suggested slashing the TS Inter syllabus for the next academic year.
Should the syllabus be approved, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) would be curtailing the syllabus by 30%. The State Government is yet to give approval on the same. If this proposal comes into action, the Intermediate students will be studying only 70% of the actual syllabus. This reduced syllabus will be applicable for the academic year 2021-22, as well as the board exams.
Last year as well, due to the global pandemic, the syllabus for TS Inter was also reduced to 70%. This slashed syllabus was also reflected in the syllabus of TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) 2021 syllabus. The same change is likely to be applied to the examination should the TS Inter syllabus be reduced. Meanwhile, the TSBIE is focused on conducting the first-year Intermediate Public Examinations for second-year students. The examinations will be taking place from 25th October 2021 to 2nd November 2021. Technically, these exams were to take place earlier, but the same could not be executed due to the then-prevailing pandemic. The board has finally released the fresh/ new dates for the exam now.
