VITEEE 2021 Not Postponed, To be Conducted in Proctored Mode
VITEEE 2021 will neither be postponed nor cancelled, as the exam is being conducted in remote-proctored mode. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 28, 29 & 31, 2021.
VITEEE 2021 will be conducted in online proctored mode from May 29 to 31, which means that the candidates can take the exam from home by using Mobile/ Laptop/ Desktop. It is confirmed that VITEEE 2021 will neither be postponed nor cancelled, and the exam will be conducted as per the scheduled dates.
VITEEE 2021 application form can be filled till May 20, and the last date to register for the exam will not be extended further. The guidelines for the online proctored test will be released soon. The counselling process is expected to begin in June or July.
In 2020, VIT University cancelled the entrance exam due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While some universities conducted the online-proctored test, VIT went ahead with the merit-based admission process. However, VIT University took a different decision this year and decided to go ahead with an online proctored-based exam. Candidates aspiring to get admission in VIT University B.Tech courses should mandatorily appear for VITEEE 2021.
