The college has highly qualified teaching staff numbering 206 (including self finance courses) with their abilities, skills and research aptitudes and National & International linkages. The college has co-education with 5:3 ratios of boys and girls and with regular emphasis on excellent discipline and dress code as implemented separately for both the sexes.D.S.College (Accredited as B++ by NAAC) At A Glance : Students, both boys and girls numbering more than 8000, 165 teachers and 150 non-teaching staff. Five faculties – Arts , Science , Commerce , Law & Teachers Training Faculty. P.G. Courses in more than 20 subjects with plenty of research activity in the hands of more than 400 research scholars. Admission Admissions are made in strict obedience of the rules of the University and the State Government of U.P. with proper ratio of General, SC/ST, BC/OBC, Physically handicapped categories. Scholarship The college provides National Scholarship, SC/ST and OBC Scholarships, Fee Concession and help from Students Welfare Fund. In all 1205 students got scholarships amounting to Rs. 2852185.00. 80 students were given fee concession and 25 got aid from Students Welfare Fund amounting to Rs. 13050.00.The vision of the college is to "Be the most preferred choice of students, faculty and industry. The college has sufficient funds to augment its infrastructure, laboratories and equipments. At present four additional laboratories, research library, separate blocks of Law and B.Ed., New Guest House and Staff Quarters are under construction. The total estimated cost of construction is Rs.35780294.00. For all practical subjects, the college has well-equipped laboratories. The college has a big Botanical Garden having rare/endangered species of plants and a Herbarium Room in it. The college has its own Health Center with basic medicinal services, Girls Common room, Common room for Day Scholars, Canteen, Cycle Stand without any charge, Co-operative Society and a branch of Post Office. Car, Scooter parking for the staff is under construction. Tube wells, submersible pumps, hand pumps and water coolers are available for water and drinking water.
