JEECUP 2026 Exam: Admission Process, Exam Date, Result, Counselling, Seat Allotment

The exam dates for the JEECUP 2026 have been announced by the UP JEE Council. The registration for the state Polytechnic admission qualifying test is ongoing from January 15 till April 30, 2026. The JEECUP 2026 Application Form is available on the UP JEE Council online portal, and students who satisfy all the eligibility requirements will be able to clear the registration process. The entrance test will be conducted from May 15 to 22, 2026, in a CBT format. Based on the test score, the conducting body will analyse the applicant’s aptitude and knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The medium of the exam is English and Hindi. There is no negative marking in this entrance exam and each correct answer will be awarded with 4 marks. Students will have to answer a total of 100 questions within 150 minutes. The exam for course groups A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, K, and L will comprise of all multiple choice questions. The JEECUP 2026 exam is conducted annually in a single session to offer admission in diploma and post-diploma courses in Engineering, Technology, and Pharmacy. The JEECUP eligibility criteria is designed by the JEE Council of Uttar Pradesh, and applies to all those who wish to register themselves for the entrance test. The detailed eligibility requirements for the JEECUP entrance test are as follows:

• All students must be at least 14 years of age as of July 1, 2026. There is no upper age limit to apply for JEECUP 2026 registration. 
• All students must be an Indian citizen. Those who are domiciled outside UP are also eligible to apply for the registration process.
• It is mandatory for all to be physically fit and may be required to produce a medical certificate during admission.
• Students who are in their final year of study and are awaiting results can also apply for JEECUP.

Course Specific JEECUP Eligibility Criteria:

• For Engineering & Technology Diploma: Students must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 35% marks from a recognised board.

• For Agriculture Engineering: Students must have passed class 10th with a minimum of 35% marks and Agriculture as one of the subjects from a recognised board

• For Diploma in Pharmacy: Students must have passed class 12th with Physics & Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology (Zoology & Botany) as main subjects from a recognised board or university.

• Visit the official website of JEECUP i.e. jeecup.admissions.nic.in

• On the homepage under the student activity board, click on the link that says "Online Application Form Submission for JEECUP 2026".

• Click on fresh student registration if you haven't registered yet

• Read the instructions carefully and click on "I Agree"

• You will be redirected to a new page where you have to add details and click on the "submit" button

• Go back to the login link and log in using your application number and password

• Fill in all the required details

• Upload your passport-size photograph

• Pay the application fee to submit your form

JEECUP Application Fee 2026

Practising mock tests helps students know how much prepared they are for the exam. For this, mock test sessions have been released by the authority. Students can start their test directly on the official link mentioned above. Students studying for the JEECUP exam should familiarize themselves with the exam pattern and syllabus for UP Polytechnic. The JEECUP 2026 admit card for all the groups will be issued at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.  To download the admit card, you have to log in with your user credentials, such as the JEECUP application number and password. All students are instructed to check the details printed on the admit card and carry a copy of the same to the exam centre on the day of the JEECUP examination. 

The JEECUP 2026 answer key release date will be announced once the exam is conducted. Through the answer key, you could get an idea of your estimated exam scores. The window to raise objections against the JEECUP 2026 answer key was also made available. To submit a challenge, you had to pay Rs 100 for each question. You must note that the authorities refund the amount if the answer challenged is correct; however, if the answer challenged is incorrect, then the amount is forfeited. Steps to download the JEECUP 2026 Result

• To begin, go to the official website at jeecup.admissions.nic.in

• Enter your log-in information, such as your application number, password, and security pin

• You must take note of downloading the scorecard and taking a printout of the same for future reference

The JEEC Uttar Pradesh will release the JEECUP 2026 cutoff on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in, soon as the result has been announced. Students taking the JEECUP exam will be able to check the UP Polytechnic cutoff for each round of seat allocation separately. The officials will present the JEECUP 2026 cutoff in the form of both opening and closing ranks.

JEECUP 2026 counselling dates will be released after the exam gets over. If you qualify the JEECUP exam, only then will you be eligible to attend the counselling.
