My college is located in the middle of a small town name silapathar it’s a good college it doesn’t have much facilities but it’s ok for middle class family we have teachers for every subject every department has three teachers

Silapathar College Rankings
- Silapathar College, established in the year 1979, was brought under the deficit system of grant-in-aid in 1992. Having permanently affiliated to the Dibrugarh University, the college got registered under 2(f) and 12(b) of UGC Act 1956. A great feat indeed for a rural college like Silapathar College! The institution was then subsequently provincialised by the Government of Assam.
- The college underwent through a series of SWOT analysis and finally volunteered to be assessed by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It rigorously prepared draft report basing basically on honest acceptance of weaknesses and submitted a Self-Study Report to the Council. Accordingly, a Peer Team consisting of Prof (Mrs.) Kerma S. Lyndoh, former Vice¬Chancellor, NEHU, Shillong, Meghalaya as Chairperson, Dr. (Mrs.) Manju Mitra, Principal, Govt. PG & Commerce and Arts College, Bilaspur, Chhatisgarh as Member and Dr. U. Subbarao, former Director (Student Services), Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh as Member-Coordinator visited the college on 15th & 16th December, 2004.
