Agrawal PG college (APGC) is the oldest and leading college in Jaipur It is managed by the Shri Agrawal Shiksha Samiti. Starting as a senior secondary school in July 1918, it transformed into Agrawal inter-college in1954. It was developed and certified as a degree college in 1957 for science, 1959 for arts, and 1961 for commerce streams. APGC is the first college of Rajasthan to be affiliated with the RISU. The APGC gives scope to provide dual degree programs and skill development courses along with the UG and PG courses.

Eligibility criteria for APGC Jaipur admission procedure

• To take admission to the undergraduate courses like BSc, BA, BCom, BCA, and BBA, a student must have obtained a minimum of 60 percent in the 10+2 board exams.
• One must have got 60 percent aggregate marks in the 10th board exams for diploma courses.
• For admission to M.Sc, the pupil should have obtained 60 percent in a BSc of relative field.
• For M.Com, one should have 60 percent in B.Com.
• For M.A, a B. A degree with 60 percent marks is needed.

Application Process for admissions in APGC Jaipur

• Every year, admission for the undergraduate and post-graduate programs begins in January.
• Applications to all U.G. and P.G. courses can be submitted offline or online. Log on to the official website for an online application. Online fee payment can be made by scanning the QR code.
• Provisional Admissions have started at the APGC. The original mark sheet of class XII / last qualification should be produced at admission. The actual migration certificate (wherever required) and transfer certificate should be submitted at the entrance, without which entry will not be confirmed.
• Entry is confirmed only after the necessary fee for a particular course is deposited and submitted for APGC.
• Candidates migrating from other states must have scored at least 60 percent in Class XII or the graduation examination.
• Inter-changing of streams after admission can only be possible if seats are available in that stream. Streams can be changed only in the following manner:

> Science to Commerce or Arts Stream.

> Arts to the commerce stream.

> Commerce to arts stream

Agrawal PG College Application Fees

Application forms can be obtained from the college campus for INR 500. The application form can be downloaded from the college website, and payment should be made at the time of submission of the application form to the college.

Cancellation Policy 

If an admission is withdrawn within seven days of submission of the fee, then the fee amount will be refunded after deducting INR 2,000. But after seven days, the fee amount will not be refunded.

Documents Required for the Admission 

Students seeking admission in APGC Jaipur to graduation first year/ post-graduation first year need to produce self-attested copies of the following documents: -

• Secondary Education Certificate (self-attested).
• Original mark sheet of Senior Secondary exam /Graduation (self-attested).
• Transfer Certificate/Character Certificate from the leaving school or college (self-attested).
• Caste Certificate in case of scheduled caste/tribe/other backward class/disabled students (self-attested).
• Migration Certificate for the migrating students (Not applicable for RBSE/ University of Rajasthan).
• Anti-ragging Certificate (as per the instructions of Govt. of India).
• Residential Proof like Voter’s ID/ Ration Card/Driving License/Aadhar Card (self-attested).
• Gap Certificate; if there is a gap between passing the final examination of previous education and the time of admission. An affidavit certified by the public notary has to be attached.

The minimum cut-off percentage for admission at the APGC:

The minimum cut-off rate for entry into any course at the APGC is 60 percent in the previously qualified exam. 

• The AGPGC Jaipur placement department provides excellent opportunities to its students during internships. The college also offers jobs and arrangements for the students.
• Almost 5 percent of the students from the APGC got placed in various companies. The highest salary package offered was INR 8 LPA, the lowest offered was INR 50,000 per annum, and the average salary package was INR 2 lakhs per annum.
