The survey says that 50% students seek career-related decisions from college, 21% from web portals and internet and 17% students from family members. For students, career counselling has become a significant task for getting jobs. Career counselling should also involve interaction between talented job seekers and real people rather than resumes, explained the report.

Over 5,000 educational institutes took part in the survey. In many cases, students were of the opinion that internships play a positive role in gaining practical experience and they help in building strong career decisions. Contrastingly, a section of students expressed that Employer Connect/ Job Fairs are the best way to gain exposure to their preliminary job.
