Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy (SMCPT), Gangtok invites applications for admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy program for the commencing session 2016-17.
Eligibility Criteria-
The candidate must have passed (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission will be on the basis of marks obtained in 10+ 2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination.
The candidate should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks for general candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
How to Apply-
Candidates can apply in online or offline mode
For offline mode, please visit the website of the College to find the SMU admission prospectus distribution centers and supposed to send the filled application form to “Dr B K Kanungo, Chairman Admissions (Medical Campus), 5th Mile, Tadong, Gangtok – 737102, Sikkim”.
For online mode, the candidate needs to first purchase the online application form to file their application to SMU courses. Go to the website of the college and register and purchase the online application form using your Visa or Mastercard credit/debit card.
Online application is a two step process wherein first candidate have to purchase the online application by paying Rs. 600/- online.
Selection Procedure -
Registered applicant will be provided with application number and password on successful payment. You can then sign in using the application number and provided a password and file your online application.
Entrance examination fee as applicable from course to the course will be prompted at the time of application and you will have the option to pay online using credit/debit card. The application will be deemed accepted only after receipt of successful online payment of such entrance exams.

About SMCPT
Sikkim Manipal College of Physiotherapy (SMCPT) was established as a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy course program since 2001 and Master of Physiotherapy course program since 2009 onwards. The SMCPT is duly accredited by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists for both the course programs. The clinical department of physiotherapy is affiliated with Central Referral Hospital, a teaching hospital of Sikkim Manipal University.
